Well I went and knocked the new off Gretchen split a bit of Osage Orange or hedgewood as we call it in Missouri.

So, this is my first official post. I am a noob to the forum but not to the love of knives. I was lucky enough to pick out my Christmas gift this year and my choice had to be the BK2. I haven't really had the chance to use it yet but I can tell (as you all know already) that this thing is a beast. I am simply in awe and have yet to even put it down. It is my first Becker and I know it won't be my last. Now I just need to figure out what kind of mods I want to make as far as the sheath and the scales go. Amazing.

Ok so here is some of what I got.

a little SS bottle filled with vodka :thumbup:
a fold up chair with cooler for fishing trips.
100' of reflective trace 550 cord
and a niteize figure 9
not pictured is the new camera, that I used to take the pic. I'm still learning how to use it.
and a couple other odds and ends.

The last of the xmas late comers. A walt davis, the center one. It came needing some TLC with some pitting, the handle was dry, and the sheath wasnt oiled, im guessing ever. It was so stiff it felt like one wrong move and the belt loop would have snapped off

Finally got some time to test out the king and snap a pic. Just a few signs of love on the finish and a light coat of mineral oil on the scales...

Same 11 in both pics. As you can see I need more practice sharpening. But hey, at least it needed sharpening from being used! Haha

Lagging on my photography lately but here's a short list:

Nanolight Streamlight (Anyone else have one of those? The thing is tiny but throws out light like the bat signal)

A crap load of Chargers Gear including a Pint Glass, a fleece blanket, boxers, a car decal, a tooth brush, and a football (Yes I'm a Chargers fan, say what you want about this season but at least we kept the Raiders out of the playoffs in our last game)
A Kindle Fire
A copy of Mad Magazine from the year and month I was born

Got the stuff in I ordered with my Christmas money. OD Snugpak Sleeper Lite (looks black, but very dark OD), DriDucks poncho, fold-a-cups, and the 12cm Zebra pot.

Even though it's not a Becker... I love this knife, sheath, firesteel combo!

Oh...I almost forgot this one. A Swiss Army Mach 3. I have more watches than I do knives.. I really love this one!
