Chuck Griffin -- Bad and or Ugly

I stand corrected.. :p I'm getting old here... *grumble grumble* I only hope that ChuckG will wisen up :(
 
His full name is Charles E. Griffin Jr, atleast that is what has been on his emails. His email address is ceg5130@telepath.com although I sent hm a message yesterday and it came back with this:

That is the address I sent the checks to and that is the number I have called and talked to Mr. Griffin before he disappeared. To this day I can still call this number and hear his voice on the answering machine. I've left him many messages.

I find it strange his email account is full. If his phone was disconnected I'd be worried, but it would seem that someone has to be paying his phone bill, else it would have been cancelled by now.

I will email wolf and see if he can't help get me started finding out what really happend. I don't really know where to start.
 
There are several possible reasons for that error message -- could be he hasn't checked his mail for a long time, could be someone has been mailbombing him -- or the mail daemon might be programmed to send that error message whenever it can't write to the drive, which could be because the drive is full or various other hardware and software problems....

All of those possibilities are likely to be fixed quickly except if he's stopped checking that email account.
 
If you call...he has left a emergency phone # to contact him......I didnt write it down but its on his machine.

Must realy suck to feel like you have been taken for the amounts mentioned above.I hope this guy makes good!
 
The Formite has e-mailed me, and Ira is on the CASE.

We SHALL all know about this Thief's 'Business Practices".

I just started to dig last night. So I have not gotten past the initial and NORMAL "Buffer", these con-Artists put up to deflect inquiring minds.

but Fear not, the BFC POE-ESE shall find good Ole Chucky and we shall see how far HE is willing to go............Ira:p :p ;)

FYI SIMON DAVID McGLYNN's case moves forward. Two formites have mailed me packets of documents, now in the hands of the investigating Constabulary. Simon is bound for whatever form of Prosecution used in that part of the Earth. His biggest issue however is the "Narcotics for sale" crap he ran on the Cancer and Chronic Pain forums. That has a USA Connection with another individual on the East Coast. This scam is a 'major-Crime' and out of my league.

Hopefully, the "mugshot" will arrive and SPARK will allow it to be posted........Ira

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. It's really too bad as I've dealt with Chuck on several occasions with no problems, albiet over a year ago..........

There is ANOTHER Formite that has contacted me. CHUCK was mailed, and he cashed a Money order in Excess of $700, and not only failed to deliver, but REFUSED any further contact by the "Victim".

There is just a wee bit left of IRRESPONSIBLE. This is just plain, flat-outCRIMINAL.

Chuck engaged in active communication, agreed to a sale, accepted payment, and then intentionally FAILED to deliver the knife.

This time, somebody is very willing to Prosecute, and whatever bad luck has befallen Chuck, this crap has just makes his luck worse REAL QUICK.

if he has turned to the dark side then let justice be swift as I have no mercy for evil.. but you cant blame me for clinging to the good ol days Ira :(
 
I doubt that Ira has had the chance to find out much. He has spent the last couple of weeks dealing with doctors and he is in constant pain. I am sure he will look into this when he is feeling better.

Chuck Griffin!!!!!!!!!IIRC, local Law enforcement was contacted and a detective assigned to investigate. We tracked Chuck down and located him in the State in which it is alleged that he committed a felony. The detective sat on his thumbs and blew a golden opportunity.

I then had some medical issues pop up and had to take a back seat for a while...............

Still don't know if warrants were ever issued, they certainly should have been, and he should be entered into NCIC.

BUT, the detctive assigned is one LAZY LEO and I would not be surprised to learn that NOTHING has changed:confused: :mad:

It's a sad day when it's too much trouble to arrest a felon for blatant robbery!:barf: And a federal crime no less.........

The bad part is, I don't think ol' NaTTDoG was the only forumite that was hosed down by this POS.:mad:

I didn't even know that this had transpired. Sad news indeed. I would be interested in hearing of any closure also. :(
 
Has anybody heard any updates on Mr. Griffin? I was one of the countless numbers who was ripped off by him.
