Civilian or P'Kal

Get a Civilian. The P'kal is cool and very effective when in close, but it requires a little more skill to use and the Civilian works better at a distance (i.e. flailing like a maniac to keep the fucker away from you).

ordered the civilian. also cento4 as mentioned earlier as EDC (my military is just too big for that).

I'd say they're fairly rare. There were 150 each RH and LH Carbon Fiber PE Civilians made. Don't have an exact figure on the PE Tufram ones, but I've heard unsubstantiated claims that 600 or less of them were made. And, AFAIK, there is only one known specimen of a PE G-10 Civilian, which apparently was one of a very small, but unknown, quantity made up for the Japanese by the firm there that makes them for Spyderco.

yes, i do. actually, i think its bigger. i mentioned several times the civ is not for EDC
