Am supposed to get a Spyderco Ambitious from Knife Rights. Need to check on that...
So here is what is likely a dumb question, but is the BK5 actually discontinued? People keep saying it is, but it still shows up on the KA-BAR website.

Good thing I have a small stockpile in that case.No more are being made. What's left in stock is all there are or will be.
Not sure if I'd buy one. From what I hear all Beckers are warped or break upon the touch...
...
I still have a NIB 4 and 5 from when I bought my 20 I need to get gone.
I sold mine. The 20 as well. Plus my other BK5. I like the 5 okay, but it just doesn't get much use from me. I much prefer the niner.
Same here with the 20 and 4. I really enjoyed playing with the 20, and it's a GREAT blade. But either I want serious chop (21) or big-but-packable (9). The 20 was in that awkward middle for me. Prolly perfect for bigger guys. The 4 is cute, but it's no 21, and otherwise I like more compact blades. I sharpened it up good and sold it last week. Hopefully it will be enjoyed.
You can just send them to me if you want to get rid of them.
