New England Siege here in NH owns the world record holder for trebuchet punkin chunkin - over 2000 ft. Their siege engine is just an absolute thing of terror and beauty when the counterweight comes down. Best repurposing of a weapon of war, ever. Best repurposing of a pumpkin ever would be the pumpkin boat - they don't go real fast, but they're more fun to watch than NASCAR.

I'd find a picture and post it but I'm too lazy. Besides, you have the internet where you are; use it for something useful for once!

You just made my evening.

I have enough possessions to last me several lifetimes.......the maintenance of which is taking up too much time. I think I would rather have more play time than more toys.

The time can be arranged, but will you seize the moment when presented with the option or will your love for materialistic items over power your desire to play?

To own. To experience. To live.... Freedom is a mindset and different for all. Pick your freedoms and fight for them. It's how this Great nation was formed!!

Went and met Battle yesterday... And got the whole story on him... The breeder I'm getting him from, blue ridge cane corso, owns the Mom and Jimmy Stanchio from Capri corsos owns the father, Grand Champion Ignashio....

They bred their dogs and split the litter in half... Battle is the male they decided to keep....

But now he is getting bigger... 7.5 months old... And their champion breeding alpha is getting dominant against Battle... And they don't like keeping dogs separate or kenneled. Which i liked seeing their dogs living as part of the family.. But they decided to sell battle to keep the peace in the house...

Granted Battle isn't the one being aggressive... But they aren't going to get rid of their champion breeder either LOL

He was a bit shy with me and looks like he could use some groceries to get a bit more weight on him but he is beautiful and i will get him in shape and fattened up a little. I bring him home tomorrow!

They have this dog named Tahiti... If you go to blue ridge cane corso site you can see her... But that's old pictures.. Now she is 10 years old and retired... Talk about a beautiful dog!! And huge! If she stands up she can give me kisses all in the face. Love that dog!

R.I.P snark thread... I blame AC... Posting about paddling in a pumpkin and whatnot...

Blame whoever you want - last three posts were all you.

Took my bow into the woods today, finally. A friend and his dog joined me and showed me around - used to live across the street and this was his daily playground for a couple decades - so no arrows nocked, even. Really nice place that looks like almost zilch for hunting pressure...hopefully soon I'll go for real. Always nice to be in the woods, no matter the circumstances - for me at least.

A dude at work said my mustache made me look creepy. A gal said she liked it. The mustache stays.

Was the gal at work or behind the bar? Not that it really matters...

So there used to be a bar here near Ft. Hood called "The Flight Line"...then the drunk helicopter pilots could call their wives (or husbands) to say they were going to be late because they were still at the flight line. I'm told there also used to be one called "The Office"...

Walter Cronkite had a boat named Assignment......that he was sometimes on.

When I was in school there was a bar named "the Library". My folks were impressed at my study habits when they called.

Anybody else astounded at the Spyderco Tenacious for overall quality and downright el cheapo price tag? Might be the best Chinese folder of all time.

Recently purchased this user Condor kukri. Cool blade. A great little chopper:

Yup.
Top of the budget folder heap.

Yes. I'm still torn between the Tenacious or the Byrd Raven 2 as my fav Chinese knife in that price category.
It's sick how smooth the Tenacious rides on those two bronze washers. Super quick opening and closing. However, I do like the blade steel and the choil on the Raven a bit more. The teflon washers suck though...
You also do sacrifice a bit of blade length, but oh well.

Anyway, for like 20 extra you can often find a used lightweight manix 2 here on BF. That would be my personal preference.
