OK, so I'm looking at Striders,,,, I know, I know...

but still, anyone who's got some could you post some side by side and/or in the hand pics? I'm trying to get a size reference down.

also, any side by side pics of a Para, especially next to a SnG, would be be awesome. I'm thinking they are really close in size, but, well, you know....

The knives feel much more different in size than the pics would suggest. The SMF is HUGE! It is just a little too big to edc in my opinion but it doesn't carry too badly. The good thing about Striders is they just feel bombproof. None of my other folders feel even close in terms of durability. Fit and finish on this one is great as well.

Which, BTW, I guess the pet thread was spared foe humane reasons, I assume.

I miss the firearms thread, I used it like a quick reference.

We did take some pics but I haven't checked to see if any turned out or not. I definitely be posting something soo though. He's getting so big!

That is a drag about the firearms thread. It might be time to start a new one. I have a new upper on the way as well as a new optic en route from a generous club member!

those are some really good pics, and they demonstrate the size difference well.

that SMF is huge! I kinda had that feeling, looking at the specs on their website

I edc a para,(among other things) and am pretty comfy with it. I can see how edc ing that monster could be uncomfortable (and not exactly sheeple friendly)

I think the Para is about perfect size for edc.

it works really well.

I kinda cheated with mine. I got a D2 with with green G10, and a S30V w/ black G10. then I switched the blades. I know, some of you will shout Blasphemer, but I wanted the D2 to have the black scales, and Spyderco didnt make one like that.

also I work edc the stainless S30V with less worry. the D2 and black is the weekend warrior.
