Tough day. I'm raising a glass to a long-time friend, mentor, and sensei who passed. Talked to his wife today, and he was seemingly healthy as a horse toward the end of December. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just after Christmas and died in February. I'd had him on my mind this week, and even sent him a short note a couple of weeks ago. Didn't have his email address on my computer at work, and when I went to look it up, I instead found his obituary. Total shock to the system. I haven't been right all day. At least I'll get to pay my respects. He was cremated, and there's a memorial service in May.

So here's to Dan... He's the man on the left in this 17-year-old photograph. I'm the young shit in the middle. The guy on the right is the most "tactical" fellow I've ever known.

Rest in peace, my friend.

Sorry to hear this, but I suspect the man had a good life. Certainly, he had good friends.:)

I'll raise one in his honor tonight.:thumbup:
 
So cal never really got all that cold 80s this week I think that is to hot I like 60s overcast and will still swet my ars of at work though
