There are places that you could walk for days and not hit a road.Thats why I only buy quality steel because my ass may be on the line.Always have a big knife and a centerfire pistol.When J makes a folder I will have that with me for when I am in town.

Good for you man! Jeremy makes the greatest practical blades, and backs it up by being a legitimately cool, trustworthy, and funny guy. I am sure the blade will provide you with the security blanket needed when dealing with survival situations. I am more of a Boundary Waters guy, but never the less....both situations can require some survivival knowledge. One thing every Hortonite knows....those blades are SHARP!
