thanks for the input guys, maybe I need to be more patient with them. I ordered some maxpedition gear from them a week and a half ago, the next day got an email saying that all 3 different items I ordered were out of stock, and I should get shipping notification in 7-10 days. still nothing. but If you guys say they are good, then I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait it out. thanks again mangs

Night, I had a bad experience with them. I blue labeled (2 day air) an order that had a Pelican case on it and they said the whole order was in stock. The next day I got an email saying the case was out of stock. I called them and they said they had it available it a different color so I took it and stressed to the person that I needed the order right away for a trip and I paid for 2 day shipping. She said she would walk the order down to shipping personally. Two days later I get an email that my order shipped. I originally placed the order on a Monday and on Thursday I get this email. When I finally got the case it was the the wrong one. It had a permanent iPhone insert and cost 150% more than the case I ordered.


Not good. If they're not careful, they're going to get a reputation similar to Botach, who was/is notorious for out-of-stock, backorder items.

Customer service or a manager/owner ought to see both the write-ups above. Does the Live Chat on their site work?
 
U should start callin, cancel that shit

Yeah, it might be time, especially if they've broken their word about 7 to 10 days. If you cancel, make clear the reasons.
And let them know that you've seen similar accounts online.
 
thanks for the additional input. BBT, that sucks bro, and I am definitely canceling my shit. I am also mentioning online communities like ours where we all talk about the G,B&U when I cancel.

I don't think they care, or at least they didn't when called after the whole deal. They didn't see a problem with:

1) Showing inventory that was not available
2) Shipping an order 3 days after it was taken even though the customer stressed prompt shipping was important
3) Customer service "walking the order down" didn't happen
4) Replacing the box on the order with the "same" one that cost over double without informing me of the price difference and permanent iPhone insert

They told me that they did't see what the big deal was and to send it back for a refund. That I didn't have it on time or that I ordered extra things to justify shipping was not important to them.

I carry those rounds when camping. Also keep a strip of short barrel Gold Dots on me. The 340 is my multi-purpose bear/moose/cougar/tweaker spray.
