Moddoo, sounds like a good setup. I've had good luck with permethrin and the new Insect Shield clothing. I really like these Rail Riders pants (http://www.railriders.com/men-weatherpants-with-insect-shield-p-973.html?cPath=104_110) and they are on sale now.

Cars fixed - new clutch in - drive like a caddy

Bike doing alrights - I was looking at buying a carbon frame (Scalpel frame) but they are close to 2K so I'm not gonna bother.

Maybe a set of lighter wheels (Industry Nine) over the winter. Ultimately I want to build an all mountain frame as opposed to XC.

Are they quiet ?

Bruce, yes they are quiet. They are super light, but reinforced in he knees and seat. If your going to wear them around town a lot, I also recommend the Versatac Lights (http://www.railriders.com/men-versatac-light-pant-p-954.html?cPath=104_110). They have a more traditional cut (the Weather Pants cuff around your boot). I have both and highly recommend their clothes.

I took that 308 barreled action, that was in the AICS stock to the gunsmith yesterday, its getting cut from a 20" to a 16" and threaded,

Make sure he knows what he's doing. I tried to cheap out on a rim-fire barrel. Had it threaded by a local guy. Got it home, my Spectre would only screw halfway on.

Now any time I need something threaded, it goes to Tornado Technologies. I know they know what they are doing. Plus they are local for me,,,

Yeah I'm picking up my .22 Hornet from TT today. Had it cut down to 16.5" and threaded 1/2 x 28.
