Ah, the power of tools. Jeremy that is a great idea. I will be giving you call. It is an old wheel but the rubber is in good condition. I think the previous owner messed it up. Thanks.

I need a table for my grinder to use the contact wheel. And I need a new contact wheel. This old one is the shits and has a slight concave to it that I am noticing is effecting the steel. Not cool. Little things like that are going to get in the way of the perfection I am looking for. Anyone know of a reasonable priced, not 270 dollar 6 or 8 inch contact wheel? Rubber or poly I don't care. I can adapt to either.

Google contact wheel dressing or facing.....you can fix it on the grinder with a file..........i need to do mine too.....it will screw up you work foe sure.......

Even if I just ran a marathon or worked a 12hrs shift,,, I'd still have energy to tap that ^ :D
 
We had a burglary tonight ! :eek:

Woke up from noise coming from downstairs and when I went down to have a look, Horton Camp Blood in one hand and a flashlight in the other, I could just make out two black men and an elderly man making their escape via the roof. Luckily I was in time to prevent them from taking anything !

They must have hit a toy store before 'cause they left part of their loot behind... go figure !

It's great that St. Nicholaus brings toys for children in Belgium. In the Czech, he comes along with an angel and a devil; the children have to say a poem or sing a song + the devil asks the parents if the kids were good the whole year - dependant on the answer the kids get either a candy from the angel, or a pack of coal from the devil (after being threatened by being dragged to hell in the devil's bag)... :D
 
Overhere Saint Nicholas has his helpers, the Black Peters, with him,,, he brings toys, speculaas (type of shortcrust biscuit) and oranges (as he's from Spain) for the good children, but the naughty children get put in a bag by the Black Peters and beaten with a stick,,, apparently I have two good children :D :thumbup:




ps: not X-mass yet, it's (nearly) the birthday of Saint Nicholas (6th December),,, he's who your Santa Claus is based upon,,, overhere Santa Claus is known as 'de Kerstman' loosely translates as ' the Christmass Man',,,
