I never want to be beaten by 2 big black peters
Overhere Saint Nicholas has his helpers, the Black Peters, with him,,, he brings toys, speculaas (type of shortcrust biscuit) and oranges (as he's from Spain) for the good children, but the naughty children get put in a bag by the Black Peters and beaten with a stick,,, apparently I have two good children:thumbup:
ps: not X-mass yet, it's (nearly) the birthday of Saint Nicholas (6th December),,, he's who your Santa Claus is based upon,,, overhere Santa Claus is known as 'de Kerstman' loosely translates as ' the Christmass Man',,,

Morning men. Now that is some funny shit. Way up north here they may get shot dressed like that.
I remember way back, going to a cousins house,St Nicholas came in,in the robes,
with the pointy hat,the whole deal.
All us kids sat down while he told stories and then pulled out two books.
The silver book had good things you did during the past year,
you always hoped you would be in that "good" book. The other book was black.
You did NOT wanna be in that book.
We never knew how the heck he knew what we did all year!
My younger cousin was named
in that black book,he was probably 2yrs old or so at that time. St.Nic said
"and Yorek keeps loosing his schnula (pacifier)" and some other stuff....
After St.Nic was done,he threw candy and nuts on the floor as he left.
Over his shoulder he had a large bag, with 2 kicking legs sticking out!
We were told that was Yorek and he was going to be thrown in the river
for being a bad kid. That was the last I saw of poor Yorek.
Amazing the old customs we have. That one I was not a fan of.
Never wanted to see St.Nic ever again.
Scared (and scarred) the shit outta me.
