Gunshop can deliver first week of January,,, gonna stick to my gut feeling and wait 'till then on the GEN3,,, proven and tested design is key for me,,,

I trust Mark. If this is what he says, then that's what I'd go with.

I, too, am an old 1911 guy. Just can't seem to get a Glock to point naturally, though I've tried.
 
I believe he knows what he's talking about, but on the other hand he hasn't shot any GEN4, so he can only take his best guess looking at the specs of the GEN 4,,,

I'v weighed all data and input,,, going with my gut feeling on this,,,

Picking up my GEN 3 around the 5th of January,,, no biggy to wait 'till then and then I'll have the same gun as we use at work,,, in the end that's what tipped it for me,,,

Went and shot my Glock 21SF today,,, afaik it's a GEN 3 and I had one stovepipe, so I don't think it matters much,,, limp-wristing, choice of ammo or just bad luck,,, any gun can jam at any moment in time, I guess,,,

edit: I've also read somewhere that Glocks have a run-in period of a few hundred shots before they're 100% reliable,,, haven't shot the G21SF that much yet,,,
 
No snow in Chicago
Doesnt seem like winter has started yet.
Ran this evening,through Lincoln Park Zoo to see the Christmas lights.
(one of the oldest zoo's in the Country.1868,still free!)
Had a little freezing rain.

Fug the zoo looks great man. I do think its kind of sucks there is no snow. Been pretty damn mild here too. Mike is probably freezing his ass off up in the UP. I got about 3 hours left in this mother then some much needed time off. Happy Friday.
 
About 40F, cloudy and raining here. At night it 's gonna freeze. Drift school coming. Leaving in about a hour - we will drive to the ziel before the water on the roads turns into ice. I calculated & planned that.
