Coffee

^ What a great story! :love_heart:

Their hard work I'm certain, taught you some very valuable lessons. I was stationed in Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico, back in my Seabee days. What a beautiful island, and beautiful people.

I was there as well doing the same thing.

Ikr! Just discovered myself, my buddy got one for Christmas but he doesn't use it because his has the spout like yours and it doesn't cover but he offered it to me and I said if I find someone else with a Chemex I'd take him up on it, they're only like $8 but if you want one can send!

I was about to take you up on it, when I realized I always pour the whole batch into a mug so it would be pointless for my individual use haha. Thanks for the offer though :)! I may have to look into it for the 6cup I have though. My wife only does lattes, so I don't use the bigger one much.

Mr. Mono,
I am not far from you and DannyP.
Have you ever tried Blueprint, or Sump in St. Louis? Great coffee. Also, if you guys are interested there is a guy getting a coffee "group" together. He wants to have the group meet at different coffee shops around St. L and try different stuff. I can get more info if you guys are interested!!

Not sure if this is the coffe comes from the form my parent worked but the town was called Ciales and the farm was in Cialito .

Not sure where . But I have a sister that lives in Puerto Rico so I'm looking for farms that sell select and specicial farmed caffee . Ill I need to do is ask her to pick a couple of them and mail them to me .

I was there two years ago and had a day trip plan to go to a small museum that's called el museo del cafe . And on our way there we stoped at a river " bad decision " beautiful place I enjoyed so much my nephew took me on a river hike about 2 miles of water walking and swimming. We got to big pond in the middle of the river great place really nice place . 4 hours later we get back to the others and I got an ear full of anoid people that had no water to drink and no food in the middle of a isolated river . My wife was not happy and the coffe trip ended there . I did manged to take picture .

miltmaldo, Looking at the beautiful scenery makes me wish I could travel more. I'll add Puerto Rico to my list.

The family went on a cruise back in 2010. One of the stops was Jamaica. We took a tour of a pineapple plantation that had coffee been fields in it. At the end of the tour everyone could sample some of the "blue mountain" coffee. It was pretty darn good!
