Coffee

Returned for a visit to where it all began for me. A bag of Peet's Major Dickason's blend, on sale for a nice price. I first encountered Peet's when I did a summer internship in San Francisco in 1980 (at the time, I had never been west of Corpus Christi). First time I had sampled anything other than Folgers or Maxwell House, and it blew me away. It's roasted darker than I generally enjoy my coffee these days, but it still holds a place in my heart.

Had my first Kenyan last week. Came from Corvus, been on a big kick of theirs for a while now. It’s not bad, I’ll drink all of the bag with no problems.

I know it's not premium but.. What's the deal with Keurig Barista House Blend . It's never in stock

This one from Ugly Mugz is probably my favorite. It's made in the US, cools down quickly to make it drinkable, and has a lid to keep it warm for a little while.

Then my stoneware mugs because they are cool for being handmade and lastly my rtic when I want to keep it hot for a long time.

Do you guys have a “favorite” coffee mug? Why do yo like it?
I have way, WAY, too many coffee mugs to pick just one favorite. However, these are the four I use the most often, by far. Drinking from the "Pocahontas Pancake House" mug right now (folks from Virginia Beach will probably recognize the place). I like them because each of them has a special meaning for me pertaining to a time and place in my life.

My regular is a dark roast espresso- brand is irrelevant as I am not in the USA.
I get the beans and do a fine grind, then into a little Moccha espresso pot. Damn fine stuff.

For a little excitement, try the Sumatran Kopi Luwak coffee, also good, but not for every day- ignore all the comments about crap coffee, it is good.
Kopi Luwak is literally a crap coffee :^D

Anyway not recommended because 99% of Kopi Luwak is fake !
