Coffee

I drink one 17/260 Aeropress cup each morning before work. My wife goes back and forth from none to two cups for a total of 32/512. So basically a 12oz bag lasts me three weeks roughly. She adds creamer so I try not to use the good stuff on her
That makes a lot of sense then. It was a long journey with my wife to get to the realization that good coffee doesn’t require cream and sugar to be drinkable. We go through 1-2 (10 cup) pots a day at our house.

Man that’s a lot of coffee a day. I’ve cut down a ton this last year on coffee consumption

Yeah, it’s usually one pot during the week between the two of us, one cup in the morning and a travel mug on the way out the door. On the weekends we will on occasion brew a second pot.

What is everyone else’s experience with Moose Mountain coffee? Here’s mine, unfortunately: Ordered from them on June 16 (a Thursday), got an order confirmation same day. Radio silence after that, so last Friday I emailed them (after trying to call them multiple times and never getting anyone to pick up) to inquire about the status of my order. I never heard anything back from them, but got an automated email update on Monday saying the order had shipped. However, two days later the shipping status still only says “label created” and the package has not even been provided to the carrier. At this point I am three weeks from my order date and have no idea when it’s actually going to get shipped.

I guess I’m spoiled by my normal go to coffee places (Iron Bean and Fire Dept) that have coffee to my door within a week of ordering (normally even quicker than that), but based on this experience it’s highly unlikely I’ll order from them again.

That’s a long time with no contact. I’m sure they’ll make it right tho
At this point I just hope to get the coffee from them. Unfortunately for them, there are too many other places to order great coffee from that take nowhere near this long to receive and I’ll stick with them in the future.

I really don’t understand what people think! What does one thing in this news article have to do with the other?

The Dallas Cowboys sparked criticism on social media after announcing a marketing agreement with a gun-themed coffee company that sells blends called "AK-47 Espresso," "Silencer Smooth" and "Murdered Out."

The football team unveiled its partnership with the Black Rifle Coffee on Tuesday, one day after more than a half-dozen people died in a shooting at a Fourth of July parade in suburban Chicago.

The partnership also comes nearly a month since the Cowboys announced their role in a $400,000 donation to support victims and survivors of the school shooting in Uvalde in South Texas, where 19 students and two teachers died.B054A0D9-DC7F-46E1-BB97-B69C0D8DCBA5.jpeg

I hear ya brother..

That should be a great contract for them. How is Black Rifle coffee anyway? Probably better than Cowboy fans deserve .(just kiddin')
I was a cowboy fan until I lived there from'80 to'88. Poor losers..
Here in Iowa your just a born loser.

Thought this belongs in here as well.

Lol, yup.
Rattled around the disposal for a few seconds before I got it shut off.
New 2 cup pressure filter (ordered) delivered for less than 11 bucks.
A lesson learned cheaply.
Not my usual MO, I was definitely expecting the disposal to be trashed.

So this was interesting... but not good. It was tart and a tad offensive, even with cream. My sense of smell still isn't totally recovered from COVID but the "strawberry, orange, peach, green apple" tasting notes were mostly present as the ghost of off flavors I sometimes get from those fruits.

I tried a different honey process coffee from Twin Engine that was a lot better.
