I typically get a bag of whatever organic medium roast is on sale, use 2 scoops to brew a single cup, add 4 raw sugar cubes and a splash of heavy whipping cream.

I just ordered a new supply of what has become my favorite dark roast blend. Five bags of Black Rifle "Murdered Out". Dark and richly flavored, it gets no additives like sweeteners or dairy products. There are candy bars for that. I'll fire up my basic no-frills drip maker and steal off the thick ultra-stout first half cup. Then enjoy three cups at regular strength. I recommend you try it if you have not.

By the way, it isn't cheap. to my door it is about $1.40 an ounce in twelve ounce bags. And they have a variety of blends if you like to experiment. All can be ordered whole bean if you like to grind your own. I don't so order mine drip grind. The beans are sourced from Columbia and Brazil.
