Cold Steel ads, the very worst.

I think WIKI has slightly more chromium and a tad less carbon than INFI; however, unlike INFI, WIKI has been found to lose its edge quickly and to be largely useless for serious work... :p;)
 
you are obviously a n0000b cause everybody knows WIKI has better corrosion resistance and is tougher. INFI is like .. FINGERNAIL clippers..:D

Say what you like about LT, but CS has done right by me a few times. I broke the clip off of an older Voyager knife and they sent me a new one with a metal clip. I also lost the rubber tip off of my City Stick and they sent me a new one free of charge.

Customer service makes up for a lot.
 
My view as owner of several CS Folders I find these JERKS who have never owned one and still pass judgement on em, Puke Fodder,:barf:

Pretty much the same for you snobs that buy into some of the higher end "Smoke up your butt" propaganda. I guess you feel larger in life because you get ripped by a higher price for the same steel used in CS knives.:jerkit:

I honestly don't know why these threads don't just get locked since they seem to go nowhere, are trollish, don't result in any new or useful information, and have that warm and fuzzy "again?" feeling.

Name me one post in this thread that hasn't expanded our knowledge on Cold Steel, knives in general, and the meaning of life itself. Fact is, I'd never even heard of Cold Steel until this thread started. Hell, I barely knew what a knife was. I've been stabbing car doors with a spoon for years, and am thankful for the knowledge that there are better tools for the job.

As an aside, why has this not been booted to W&C? I don't currently feel the need to use foul language, but I would like to at least have the option.

Whenever you see ads that you don't like, it is usually a good bet that you aren't the target customer for the ad. I literally walk out of the room when I hear the Vonage ad with the woo hoo woo hoo hoo. Obviously their advertising isn't aimed at me. Cold Steel does what it does because it works. They are one of the most successful companies in the industry, like it or not.

Your experience with the Vonage ad actually proves that it did work on you. You remembered it, which is all they are shooting for. Same with CS. You remember it so it worked.
 
I wonder if while reading these threads, Lynn Thompson has to stop filling out his weekly deposit slips, because his signing hand is shaking from laughing?????
