COLD STEEL IN TV/MOVIES

That's really interesting that Swayze had a CS Tanto in Red Dawn. I hadn't heard of that before The Whip's post. I too had seen the movie several times, and never saw the Tanto.. I rewatched it today and I think it appears in the scene near the end where he is carving names into the rock to memorialize his friends.

I hit pause at the point where he stops carving & starts to put the knife back on his belt and kept hitting pause so the video moved forward slowly and there is a point where the blade catches the light (and the pommel appears to be brass.) It does appear to be a Tanto.

I wonder if Swayze ever kept that knife after filming was done...
