Cold Steel Knives - Welcome

Been looking to add to my Cold Steel collection, the CS web site has the Warcraft Tanto on back order, my question is this, I have found one on Amazon and as a bonus it is less expensive than what is offered on the CS web site, should I be concerned that it may be a fake?

We had a VERY small advance shipment of them a few weeks ago that we sent out to dealers.
I cannot guarantee authenticity from third party sellers but there are a few out there.
We are expecting much larger shipments very soon

When will they be available to order on the CS web site? and are there any more knifes made of the CPM3V steel coming?

I know I'm a bit late to this party, CS, but here's a belated welcome! It's good to see Cold Steel have a presence here on BF!
Yes, the SRK is also available with a secure-ex sheath
A few years ago, my SRK came with a Kydex sheath, not leather. Is it the same as the Secure-Ex?

Of course I also always have a smaller knife, usually a Spyderco Military , in my left front pocket. For those sheeple moments.
Lol! I wish I could bring out a "smaller" blade like a Military or Recon 1 and not scare folks in my neck of the woods!
Knowing that my black bladed 4-inch Recon 1 will scare sheople, I usually have to carry a much smaller, non-blackened blade like my spear point cqc-7 for such occasions -- in Illinois.

Guess it just depends on where you live. Here where I live, it's not unusual at all to spot a pocket clip or sheath on a belt, male or female. And numerous times I've spotted guys with more than one clip showing. I suspect a lot of them are corner gas station El Cheapo knives, but at least they have one. I consider a 4" to be small personally, since most of us have considerably larger knives in our kitchens. If I need something smaller than 4" i always have my Leatherman Charge Ti on me, and it has both a PE and a SE blade of about 3".

This knife is either on me or near me at all times! Today at work I cut up a long submarine sandwich to distribute to my coworkers and this evening I cut up my steak! :)

what the hell took you so long! Cold steel is what started me on my addiction to blades 1988 tanto.

Hey all I have a quick question ... I have a CS Triple-action tanto that the handles and washers are wasted. I have carried it almost daily for about 5 years and I really would like to know if you all know of some one who can rebuild it for me

As the Triple Action is long discontinued I'm not sure we would be able to help repair this knife. However, I might be wrong...

I would suggest giving our customer services team a call at (805) 658-0180, they will be able to advise
Thanks

Not at all, there is no time limit attached to our warranty.
We judge each knife on a case by case basis. We'd need to inspect the knife to make any call at all. It's impossible to say what would happen without seeing the knife in-hand.
The easiest thing to do - if you have any problem at all with your knife, sword, machete etc. - is to call our customer services team, talk to an adviser and then send in the knife with detailed notes for assessment.

We're all knife geeks here, we're not an evil corporation. Our team will do everything they can to help :)
