Carpenter CTS-BD1 is between Aus-8A and 154CM in edge-holding to me. It has slightly more carbon and chrome than Aus-8A.

Which brings out slightly better edge-holding and stain-resistance.

Carpenter CTS-XHP is powered-process, stainless (more chrome than standard) version of D2 tool steel.

Standard D2 isn't considered stainless, but it really comes down to the heat-treating process it goes through.
 
I want to see a Mini Recon 1 with Spyderco-quality gimping on the thumb ramp, higher quality blade steel, and smooth G10 under the pocket clip.
 
I hope I didn't already post this; but I'd like to see a real smatchet in the quality and price range of the Gurka kukri.
 
Something like a Code 4 but not so wide when closed. I dont mean thick. For instance, a Sebenza is quite narrow when closed and takes up less room in the pocket.
 
I really would like to see a shorter Lating machete. CS offers the 18, 24 and a in-between 21. A shorter 14-16 inch model would be a useful addition in the product range.
 
I would love to see them bring back the mini- bushman. I'd want it in a cordura sheath with a pouch for what those pouches are for. Please ???? I would buy one or six or ?????
 
Re-do the battle mace!! The Indian War Club is a kind of mace (and a brutal one at that!!) but I'd like to see 3 sizes of mace, two handed, hand and a half, and single handed. It wouldn't be herd to mount different heads on poly shafts , complete with langgets. Also, I'd like to see a tactical Scottish Dirk, reminiscent of the Oyabun in size, culloden in shape....
I have more ideas but I'm pressed for time... The newer voyager designs in VG-1 like the older ones!!!!!! Do that with the tri-ad locks....we're talking millions in profits...
 
And maybe a blued steel and poly handled flail! I'd like to make one with gear pinions, but if CS made one for $40-$70, that'd be amazing!
 
A larger version of the Tuff lite would be amazing and a larger version of the SRK as well both please.
 
i wanna buy a Magnum Tanto XII (13MBXII) , may you CS take it back ? does it really out of production forever?

and make them san mai, i dont buy Chinese made knives...
 
I too would really like to see the words "Made in the USA" on more CS knives, even if they had to charge more...
