Cold Steel products YOU want to see?

I would love to see a Recon 1 (i like my tanto, but really for all of them), with a DLC coating, and a steel like S30V (or any higher end steel). Man, release that, and sign me up for a few..

A 3" blade Code 4 with color anodized handle scales (Blue, green, black, red) and an improved pocket clip would sell like hotcakes. I've never truly collected knives before but if something like that came out I would buy them all.

I'd like to see the handle on the Recon Scout and Trailmaster modified, making it wider and thicker and giving it a palm swell.

I feel the need to elaborate :)

Start with the Code 4. This thing is incredible, but not perfect.

Shrink the blade length to 3" to make it legal in almost all states and make it more practical for small EDC tasks. Slightly thinner blade stock to keep the proportions right and make the knife even slimmer than it already is (0.11-0.12"). Keep the satin finish. And the fluted, reversible thumb studs are awesome. Might need to be scaled down slightly for a smaller, thinner knife though.

Lightly texture the 6061 aluminum scales, EXCEPT under the pocket clip area on both sides. Then give them black/green/blue anodized finishes. Something similar to this, but obviously not the web design. Just some sort of functional/cool looking texturing.

The pocket clips needs drastic improvement. The "scoop" to get it over your pocket is horrible. Also, it should be straight. It will look better aesthetically and save you money because you won't need to ship 2 clips with every knife. Follow Spyderco's example; their clips are amazing:

Gimp the back of the Tri-Ad lock and handle scales (Not the blade spine). Again, follow Spyderco's example of perfectly functional gimping:

With all of these changes I think Cold Steel could forge an absolutely LEGENDARY every day carry knife.

Something along the lines of a zt 0200 or 0300, 1/4 inch thick folder. G10 and titanium handle. gimping and glassbreaker. 4-5 inch blade. in 3v. Cold steel is known to make some of the toughest knives, so it would be cool if they would make the ultimate hard use, survival folder.

would anyone like something like that? cause i think that if one company can make it, than its Cold Steel.

A more traditional styled XL folder, none of those "ergonomic" finger grooves that only fit people with similar sized hands to the designers.

Since i have the original Voyager X2 and i love it, i would love the same knife, 3/16 to a 1/4 inch thick blade and G 10 - titanium handle and tri ad lock.

Why would anyone want to have a knife "gimped"?

I'd settle for a CPM-3V SRK, thanks!

I would like to see a new model trailmaster 12 inch blade bigger guard 2balls on the ends of the guard flat tang stag handle and yes i already have the the frontier bowie I wants moe beeger knifes!

Serious question? Functional gimping is awesome, it's a cheap and easy way to add grip. But that is by far the least important thing that I listed. I would happily settle for 3" Code 4's with a better clip.

He was poking fun at your spelling, I think. People typically use "jimping", with a j, to refer to what you're talking about. Gimping, with a g, typically means "deliberately making something weaker", or "handicapping".

The steel liner and g10 triad folders to come back.

The mini bushman to come back.

G10 scales on the Mackinac Hunter.

Would love to see what Cold Steel and Steve Demco could do with the old Marbles folding fixed blade bowie.

I'd love a smaller pocket bushman, say around 4" closed. I'd also love to see the twist master return to the line up.
