Cold Steel products YOU want to see?

Continue to offer their popular folders in the standard Aus8 to make one side happy, and offer an upgraded version in something like S30v concurrently.

Guys who like the current prices get to enjoy their Aus8, while those who wish for something more can pay for it.

Sorry for sounding too obvious, it was too logical to pass up.

This is old news though, maybe CS just doesn't want to get caught up in the "bladesteel game" with other companies which obviously isn't their focus.

6 inch Ti-Lite with Triad

Poly-P nunchucks :)

Ramlock higher end folder with foldover handle

Can I say again, Bring back the LTC? Even better... LTC full tang 3/16ths with g-10 handles in the same shape as the originals.
(The LTC pattern has out chopped some much more expensive and "Custom" type blades in similar size and weight ranges. Its a damn fine knife, and it really deserves a rebirth.)
While I am at wishing, Trailmaster full tang, bring back the carbon steel SRK(fulltang) Recon Scout(full tang)
Please please please !
The only failures I consistently hear about and see with CS fixed blades is tang breaks just behind the blade, at the blade handle transition.
Full tang versions would fix this, and g-10 handles would cause WAY less hotspots than the super aggressive rubber handles.

Also, do away with the set screws on the hawks, and run a line of the hawks in 5160. If they did a good job with these, I know a TON of people who would buy them even at the increased price point.

I have been on a desert tan kick lately. I would love to see the Recon 1 in Desert Tan handles and blades. Would make a great overseas knife.

+1 for good carbon steels.
1095 or 5160 would be awesome.

And then, bring back the Warhead.
Probably the best double edged knife for the buck out there.
It was a real sleeper. But a freaking awesome knife for the money.

To bad it is illegal to carry everywhere except inside my home due to the length (Yes, Texas only allows 5.5" carry) and the fact that double edges are frowned upon for some reason.

I would love to see a recon 1 with a more wear resistant steel like 154cm or a3. It could be called the recon 2 :) the perfect recon would be a USA made recon with a more wear resistant steel.

I would like to see the Pocket Bushman with some different blade shapes and a good carbon steel this time. If it must be stainless, something like Opinel's Sandvik 12c27-MOD. I like the design concept and construction, but the current blade profile is not good IMO. Also need to improve the blade/handle ratio, the blade looks too small for the handle.

Maybe a smaller lance-type model added to the spear line. I love the assegei and boar spears, they are just too large for me.

A 5" bushman and bring back the small 9" Kukri!

This! I really liked my SK-5 TM and will get one of the O1 models when they become available but I'd love to see a full full width tang Trail Master and Recon Scout. I really hope the current TM's and RS' are radiused where the tang meets the ricasso as to prevent stress fractures.

I would buy a Cold Steel Code-4 in S30v ... though I have no problems with AUS-8 ... it holds a scary edge and I haven't had any issues with rust or anything.

I would love to see the stupid finger grooves removed from the Voyagers.

Please (PLEASE!) keep the new flat ground blade, reversible low-ride pocket clip, even the overly aggressive texturing, but get rid of the finger grooves.
All they've accomplished with those is to guarantee I'll never have a reason to buy another Voyager until the stupid grooves are gone.

Were they TRYING to reduce their customer base to the few who's hands fit those moronic things?

Either a single-edged plain-edged SR-1 with a lanyard hole at the butt, or a plain-edged MR-1 with a lanyard hole at the butt.

Voyager series with a tough, wear resistant steel like Z wear or PD-1 ( both powdered vascowear/cruwear). The high end steels pretty much all need to be imported to Taiwan so this wouldn't cost as much as people think. Naturally despite the performance I know that would never get done. Voyagers in VG1 with the lock strengthening design "tri Ad" of Demko's.

In addition the Leatherneck needs to go back to carbon steel. The O-1 ( probably YK 30) would do nicely. There are others.

SKH51 (JIS name for M2) @ rc 62-63 would be great in a convexed edge in a 6-7inch, 1/8th inch thickness utility/hunter/bushcrafter. It's a tough, wear resistant steel that doesn't corrode as easily as simple carbon steels. Coatings could be used of course. The convex with a slight buffing finish would make the biteingist, savage edged knife CS ever made.

I miss VG 1 steel on handheld tactical folders (thinking of the Voyager). Apparently, it is too expensive to produce and sell in smaller knives..? I suppose if I wanted to save up for a year, I could pick up a Kukri for like $800. I doubt it would fit in my pocket though.. Lol

I'd like to see a NR-40 by Cold Steel.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NR-40

Cold Steel already created their own version of Shashka.

And I think a Cold Steel NR-40 would be just great.

All black. A blade that's thicker and a bit larger than the original. That red Soviet star on a handle.

That AK / Saiga construction is getting more and more popular in firearms world nowadays, Shaskas and NR-40 can be popular in knife world too.

A non-deep-carry pocket clip is kind of important for me. I need something to grab on to when drawing my knife, not too much but just something to get a hold of. I disagree with comments requesting deep carry cold steel pocket clips.

I WANT A LARGE VOYAGER WITH A DIFFERENT BLADE STEEL! The voyagers are awesome. Great tactical knives. But the tanto point is not as functional for the tasks I do, and the clip point is just too wide (and I'd like a flat spine). A outdoorsman esque blade would be great. something with some straight edge, some belly, and a point.

I would also like the snag open thumb disk, but that's a side point.

Heck, if you couldn't keep it in the voyager line: a 4" blade as I described above, those aluminum liners, a similarly spacious and ergonomic handle (maybe a bit less aggressive), and a well placed clip like on the voyagers. It could be a folding outdoorsman type thing.

I would buy any of those as soon as it came out.

Turns out what I described is pretty much the talwar. I just wish it was in the same price range as the voyager line.

Also, I meant blade shape, not steel. I like your aus8.

I would love to see a Trailmaster in 52100 (similar to the old Carbon V steel) with a 1/4 inch thick. 11-inch long blade. Keep the sharpened straight clip, make it FULL TANG, and add a G-10 handle shaped like that on the Laredo Bowie, but with more texture. Balance it well, and give it a flat-black Cerakote or NP3 finish. That would make me very happy:)

An 800$ kukri?!
