Glad you're happy with your purchase, i've owned and used both, they are completely different knives obviously, the 0220 is in no way designed to take the same beating the SR1 could, i don't think any ZT frame or liner lock could. Such a shame they dropped the ball on this SR1 a bit.Update to this thread: I returned the SR1 and purchased a ZT 0220 off of this site. Very happy with the ZT
I’m still looking for a Cold Steel because I do like the triad lock. The only issue I have is, I do not like liner-less handles and all the Cold Steel folders seem to be that style. I know the voyager series has liners but I do not like the cheap scales on them. Also, I cannot afford the 4 max, so I am out of luck.Glad you're happy with your purchase, i've owned and used both, they are completely different knives obviously, the 0220 is in no way designed to take the same beating the SR1 could, i don't think any ZT frame or liner lock could. Is your dislike for the linerless models due to worries about strength? if so you have no worries, they are some of the toughest knives on the market, i've abused an old recon 1 without liners for years and years and there is not a spec of slop or play anywhere. Also have you considered the Code 4 series? a very nice knife indeed.I’m still looking for a Cold Steel because I do like the triad lock. I have owned quite a few cold steel folders within the past couple of years. I don’t doubt their strength one bit. I just feel like the liner-less handles look and feel cheap. It is only personal preference as I know that the knives will withstand anything I throw at them.Is your dislike for the linerless models due to worries about strength? if so you have no worries, they are some of the toughest knives on the market, i've abused an old recon 1 without liners for years and years and there is not a spec of slop or play anywhere. I think I may just have to save up and get the 4 Max. That would be the only hard use folder I’d ever need, honestly.Yep that's fair enough, everyone has their preferencesLet's hope they bring out some good new designs this year.
It's an amazing knife, you wont regret it. Cuts like crazy too.I think I may just have to save up and get the 4 Max. That would be the only hard use folder I’d ever need, honestly.

Did anyone else hear a roumour about SR1 tantos coming this year? I think I red about it somewhere this week. Hope they made the screws and barrels better/larger and sorted out the blade play. Well Im all tantoed out for 2018 after getting a medium warcraft tanto anyway.
Did that, didn't help made it worse if anything. Plus, I found the screws will never tighten down all the way because they just keep turning.Try loosening the screws that sit on the handle, behind the lock bar. This can loosen up the action of the lock bar, so it engages the blade and lock pin a bit better.
