Cold steel tri ad lock vs Spyderco compression lock (stonger lock)

Can we get back on track again plz?? I've never owned compression but I have had a couple of triads and since respected owners of both are mentioning them in the same paragraph only shows me that this is one of those threads where either way - either lock, you have a win/win match-up.

I love my Spydercos and my CS knives. I think I have 4 Spydercos (owned about 25 and sold off what I don't like) I have 2 Cold Steels left (gifted 2 and sold 3).

I have the ones of each I want for now and they're both great offerings. Sharp, strong priced fairly - yeah!

I'm saving my user Centofante 3 with zip-tie wave for a 5000 post giveaway!! :D

It's worth just picking up a Cold Steel Spartan just to experience the lock and durability of the knife. For me there is nothing like it that I have used. I can say that I can hang from the knife , and being 240 pounds I was impressed. I've also stood on it, thrown it , jimmied it into a door and busted the lock out. The lock is fine and no blade play in any direction. Best 50 bucks I've spent on a knife.

I love my Spartan... I personalized it.

The lack of blade play in any direction is comparable too my custom Demko Navajah. These are the tightest locking knives I have ever owned. EVER.

Unless you have a video that means nothing apparently.

Yea , some people are that way which is understandable i suppose. Thats why I mentioned it was 50 bucks, buy it, try to destroy it, put it back in your pocket and walk off into the sunset knowing you have a great knife for one hell of a bargain.

Yea I'm about to get mine turned into a first custom before he sends the knife into production. Will post the pics when I get it back. Can't wait.

My only complaint about a stock Spartan is the handle and blade. Too much of both. I can mod Spartans til I'm blue in the face. I talked to Demko about this and he said he'd talk to Thompson about it. I told him all I want (if my modded Spartan becomes production) is a simple credit in the item description.
