Cold weather Q&A

Dresnor you picked some cold raw weather to attempt the challenge. Doing it in that weather should count for extra points . Excellant entry
 
I checked that entry out. Very nice job. Question: You mentioned you actually had to leave the shelter a few times as it got too hot. How would you change next time around? Placement of fire? Size of fire? Just curious. :thumbup:

I let the fire die down and used less wood. Towards the end you can see there is alot less wood on the fire. I also pushed the coals into a smaller area to have half the shelter nice and warm but still have a section that was cooler.

OK, so I completed the challenge on Thursday-Friday, and now I'm trying to post my response. However, I can't get the images to post; I figured it might be because I was only a "registered user" rather than a paying member, so I signed up for the basic membership and paid through paypal. However, paypal reports that the e-check could take 3-5 business days to process, thus (potentially) putting us beyond the February 1st deadline. Any ideas on how to post images, or anything I can do to speed up the process? Thanks guys--
