You made all those yourself! Holy moly, that's some nice work. I can't even decide which one I like best. Like them all.

Thanks Bawanna!
Third one down is a migration period viking/germanic sword. It's weird- it has bitten a fair number of folks who asked (or in one case just helped themself) to look at it. Dunno why. Fifth is a Turkish style kilij that is waaay too long (35" blade)
The second wakizashi in the first pic and the tanto under it are rescue polishes and remounts of fairly old Japanese swords that came back from the pacific.

Blue- love the pipes. I have a few but don't smoke anymore...that little one is very cool.
I'm too much of a freight train to have a fountain pen, as much as i love 'em...

Got no trolls or raisins, but do have a few Airfix Gurkhas.

I had those when I was a kid!!! We made up rules on the living room floor, with dice, and tape measures...
I need to at least get another box-o-gurkhas.

Thanks! The small one is a Big Ben Pipo. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I always wanted a small "nose warmer" pipe but I'm concerned the smoke might be too hot with such a short stem. I only smoke English blends so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I can't say that I'd recommend fountain pens unless you write every day and if you have control over the kind of paper you're writing on. If you don't use the pen at least once every week or two it dries up and takes some effort to make it start working again. And if you find yourself writing on cheap paper the ink will bleed through and make a mess. Fountain pens are very impractical. They still seem to love 'em in China, though. Back in the 20's Parker, the preeminent fountain pen maker, had a few factories in China. When the communists took over they nationalized (stole) the factories, and they still make pens to this day under the Hero brand. They aren't identical to Parker pens, but they're quite close.

all gentlemen should have a library, armory , apothecary and kennel ( guns , knives, books , beer and dogs?) very cool berk, and yeah i missed before that you MADE all those JW, believe me its much harder to make them than to buy them lol

I will post my HI collection in a few days. I'm waiting on a couple new ones to come in the mail.

The first batch- the wakizashi and the Filipino/nepalese stuff is my research collection-I have a pretty low budget but I'm at a lot of gun shows, so it's easier to find stuff I can afford. Decent swords, I can NEVER afford. Hence the second pic. If they were stuff i'd made for other folks I wouldn't have put them up here but those were for me...the Dao second from the bottom is my favorite of that batch (and my current means of recovering from tendonitis). Hoping to add a 25" sirupati as soon as the budget allows.
Phil- what's the spydie at the top?

JW, it's the Calypso brown sprint run. There are still a few out there for sale if you look hard enough.
