60 isnt too bad at all. I miss 60.

How can you not love Waylon?
And just for the hell of it ill throw a bottle of water in the freezer... I got some 3V around here with some excellent heat treat that i believe could hold up to the ice without any damage. I shall see... I dont expect to make it through the bottle in a single swing at all... But it will be a fun test.![]()
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
-Robert Frost
Wife figured out the taxes tonight. Not getting much back, but it sure is better than owing.
I have to write a paragraph about the underlying meaning of that poem on Monday.. I don't mind doing it, but I have no clue what it means even after reading stuff about it other than "a guy makes a descision".![]()

I'm pretty sure it will result in knocking a chunk of ice clear across the yard, like a hardball coming off a "tee" and taking a sad bounce across the third base line. But we'll never know if we don't try.

If that ain't a good lyrical hook for a country song, I don't know what is. Throw a bit of alcoholism and violence in there, you got yourself a hit.

Don't forget trains and prison and trucks.

Don't forger the water tower, either.
FWIW - I'd start with what you've already got - "a guy makes a decision" - and then focus on this part and especially the last line.
Wait this isn't snark.
Go walk in the woods and figure it out for yourself.
Poetry can mean so many different things depending on the reader, I would say it means he took the road less traveled and was happy he did, But still wonders what was down the other road.. But who knows.. The writer was probably drunk and just couldnt find his way home and now he thinks back to the time he was drunk and took the wrong path and ended up at sally's house making bad choices...
Thanks. I'll probably do that and quote the poem to get som extra words![]()
And how do you expect me to figure out something in the woods when I'm wailing on a tree with a BK9?
That's whats throwing me, it needs to be what someone else thought it meant, but my own interpretation of it (if that makes sense), but people do seem to get artsy when they're drunk.![]()
Don't forget trains and prison and trucks. You've got momma covered. Or at least close enough.
Don't you talk about my dear sainted Mama. I'll kick your ass from here to Sunday:grumpy:
Congrats, Julio!
Speaking of zombies and death cards, I had a thought recently.
OK fine, now that ya'll have stopped laughing about ol' JT actually having a thought, let's move on, shall we?
Everybody cuts water-bottles to show how keen their knives are.
How come nobody cuts frozen water bottles?
Wotta ya get when you play a country song backwards?
