I enjoy that model quite a bit. Hopefully it’s not too small for your hands. I like the neutral feel of it.
Normally, straight handles work for me, even if they're a bit short.

This will be my second TOPS knife, the first being a BOB Fieldcraft. It was a nice knife, but I sold it before I was able to use it. Well, besides damn near cutting my finger to the bone with it.

The little guy's keeping us busy ;)

you're in for an adventure! start training him on what's acceptable to chew now - while he's easy to imprint.
when he's 5 months old he should be pretty close to half his adult weight if you want an easy estimator for how big he'll get.

I have a bush hog deck, rotary plow and a snow blade for it. I also have an Italian made 2 wheel tractor Grillo G85D with a tiller and a Zanon mower deck

Same machine with different attachments

I ended up using a knee scooter most of the time
murder machines. there's a spanking old grizwold with snowblower on front, no safeties :D

speaking of snowblowers, my 12-13 yo ariens got an auger jammed hard on the shaft when the so called safety shear bolt blew up, and got some filings inside - not a lot of clearance. had to rig up a puller situtation, get that off, polish the shafter, and INSIDE. spins free now... also a blessing i found that the front gear box had a bent cover, so might have been leaking. scheduled to fix all that, prime and paint the inside... augers to be red, inside to be ford blue, nothing too fancy, just keep the metal covered again, and some contrasting internal colors. i want to get magnetic LEDs that can sit on it too.

An adventure it is already 😂
Incredible how quickly he learns, the things we want, routines we do, really amazing. Forgot the intensity of this period... You have to be alert ALL day long ... And night too 🤪

Tonight I only had to take him out once! Huge improvement.

Needed a project for a leather working demo Wednesday night,
Attendance was slim, so to my surprise , I punched all my holes and sewed the body of a new, larger haversack together.
Had some slack time this afternoon, so I made a couple antler buttons and a shoulder strap and finished the project.

No Beckers were harmed in the making of this bag.

Weather was beautiful. Got the grass/weeds cut. Hard to do with a weed whip, when you have arthritis and tendinosis in your hands and arms. Gonna buy a weed eater and leave it there. Last time we went at the end of March, the cabin was full of Asian beetles, and red wasps. We didn't even stay, we returned home. So basically, it was a clean up mission. I took some expandable foam, and filled in a gap where the reds go in and out of. They weren't happy about it. Wife got stung twice. We set off a bug bomb as we left.

I remember my Grand Ma telling me how the Finnish men would fight with their Puko's and they would put it just under their finger, and first one to draw blood was the winner.

Wish I could get my energy back up, I have been dragging since I went back to work. I piddled around the house today and feel like I worked. I've been downstairs gathering stuff for a new bag went upstairs to put together a sewing kit for the bag. Gets depressing
