I murdered the ant hills beside the drive way on the old farm stead to cover the rocks and smooth out the drive way. Them ants never paid their rent so I took their domicile materials for better use.

Two passes with the diamond cutting wheel on the 4.5" angle grinder, each followed by a session with a cold chisel and hammer taught me how to make coarse gravel. 😁 I had to suspend operations for dinner making, you understand. Priorities have there place. Oh, and no camera, no pictures, so I guess it never happened. It did, but I got a long, long way to go yet, and a new camera to shop for. Don't ask about cell phones, I come from under a rock.

Gathered some hazelnuts yesterday while out camping.
Brought just the right took to crack 'm open :P

Been trading, I am aging out of my more power phase. So I traded off my 338 Win mag. I got a Glock 43X in the deal after cleaning and switching the mag release around. I was off to the range. This little gun will shoot! I was hitting partial pieces of clay birds at 30 yards:) ran enough rounds to be able to trust it . I put the G48 on the nightstand and the 43x in my holster

I don't know much about "Burning Man", but my sister and her husband are there by now. I helped set them up with my little trailer behind their car. He likes twirling fire sticks, among other stuff. :D I also set them up with a new Cabela's Polar Cap cooler. They had a cooler in their pickup truck, unfortunately the truck is stuck in Texas just now with a blown head gasket and water pump.

They'll be gone the better part of a week, tent camping. I haven't tent camped since I was a kid!! 😁 Have fun kids!!

Burningman!
I went back in Y2K. I'd recently moved from Santa Fe to NYC for grad school, and flew back out to SF to drive with friends up to BRC. I used to hang with the local Burners and spin with the NYC Fire Dancers, and worked fire safety for them in the Halloween Parade once. Good times.

Finally cooled off today. We had 7 days in a row with highs in the upper nineties. So I got out and mowed. Broke the deck belt on my craftsman finished with my Gravely. Friday morning I came home from working all night and took my wife to the dentist to have teeth removed. So my sleep cycle was off. I laid down on the bed for just a "second" while my phone charged. Guess my body decided to auto correct ,6 hours later I wake up. I had everything on belt, gun, magazine holder, BK-10 . I was out

Headed to the cabin next weekend. 1st time in about 6 or 7 weeks. Going to go clean it up, as we left right after a bug bomb was set off. Temps in the low to mid 70's. So far the forecast says sunny, but, you know how that goes.

The kids got back Monday morning, I won't bother them until they have rested.
~~
Here comes 'our' summer, ours starts late this year. My local weather prognosticator claims I can expect 106* for Thurs./Fri. woo-hoo
