Comments on this year's BF Knife Process.

While I did enjoy the multiple polls and selections of previous years, this year was a very smooth process by which we got some amazing knives, without much conflict. I'm a bit behind the times, I'll have to look further into this other knife that I'm hearing about on this thread (although maybe I shouldn't)! It was a great process, and even though you guys chose wrong by not including the secondary blade I'll still accept it I guess! ;) a big thanks to everybody, especially Charlie and John Lloyd!

You made a typo sir. I think you meant to say "Now, let's start planning that peanut BF knife for next year :D :D" :)

My thought is that we are due for a small peanut or pen knife as well. Of course I want one with a punch after carrying this $1 beauty for over a year and seeing the utility of a tool blade on such a small knife!

Plus, we haven't had a punch on a BF knife, nor have we had a small peanut/Pemberton sized knife. My suggestion would add to the numbers of a rare variation from what I've seen.

But enough propaganda/sales pitch!

I'm not sure if I'm the right person for behind the scenes work, but I do have two large thin pieces of nice bocote, and another of cocobolo that I would be happy to donate to next years cause as I love wood and feel we need a wood forum knife. Now while I would love to see wood put on a small knife with punch, I put my offer out there regardless of pattern chosen, if that is a choice that people want of course.

Now the wonderful wait until the fall!!

I'd doubt anyone could have done a better job, this was a huge undertaking on Charlie's part. Many thanks :)
