Composite Blade Shallot

Not to question you COOL AIR, but I believe that is an optical illusion. If you are holding the two slabs of micarta together off camera to the left, this is how it would appear. The bottom of the lower slab is horizontal. The top of the upper slab is not. If you look at the picture closely, you can see the top line of the upper slab is higher on the right than it is on the left. The weight of the handle would cause this appearance.

Can you post a picture of the of the spine in the handle in the closed position?

Where do I apply for the best goods swap, or where to buy or in Kershaw, as the blades curvature at the thickness of 2.3 mm is invalid , in my opinion .

Thanks ,

OK, I was wrong...that looks like a bent blade! If you can call Kershaw, that would be my suggestion. Their number is (800) 325-2891. Ask for Morgan. Tell them your blade is bent and you would like a replacement/different knife. If using the phone is impractical, email them by going to the top of this page, click on www.kershawknives.com, click on the Kershaw brand link (first picture on the left), and then click on Contact Us near the bottom of the first page. There you can tell them what's up and how you would like the problem resolved. I would paste a link to the pictures you posted above.

If Tommie comes along today, and I see him here, I'll point him to your pictures.

Kershaw's Customer Service is top shelf, so I'm certain your problems will be resolved.

Thanks for concern. This product was purchased Knifeworks, order number 67151, track number EH 178 122 089 U.S.. But I live in Lithuania and that seems to be a challenge to the transfer. Maybe if I send a knife , but the second time do not want to customs duties . Maybe find solution to the problem .

Thanks ,

Cool Air,

That blade defiantly should not have left the factory in that condition. If you decide to send please send it to my attention I would like a chance to find out what caused the warpage. We will replace the knife with a new one.

2008 catalog steel chart puts ZDP-189 between 64-67. I think your right SV, because its alot easier to sharpen than the TiZDP MC, which I believe was on the higher end of the hardness scale. Could also have alot to do with blade thickness though.
