Just stopped in, missed a lot as usual. Two things strick me. rlarges French Mastiff , I hope he is ok. And the victimization of the elderely.
I love our two dogs and stress everytime one of them is injured or sick.

My mother lives alone, since my father recently passed away, and she is scared for her safety, at night especially. She lives in a nice neighborhood but is on the street that leads to the not so nice.

It can be overwhelming sometimes, what can go on in peoples lives and how little control we have over any of it.

Momma tricked me into playing Farmville on Facebook,,, now I'm hooked,,, could be a farmer deep down in me afterall,,, who'd thunck that ?! :eek:
 
Bought my two boys their first knives for when they turn 7,,, Noa will be 7 next month and Beau's only 14 months yet,,, these are Opinel knives specially designed for young children,,, sharp,but no pointy tip,,, hopefully I wont be saying,,,seemed like a good plan at the time,,, in the near future ;)

Sounds like a good time to make friends with the neighbors who can help watch out for her. Also, most cops I know have a soft spot for little old ladies. Have her introduce herself to the local boys and ask if they can give a little extra patrol. I wouldn't mind helping out in a similar situation
 
and get Mom some range time with an AR.


This world is getting so screwed up. I was going to go on a rant, but the previous sentence wraps it up.

Chibbi, those are cool. You better store those in a secure place or your boys will sneak them into their book bags.:D
