Concealed Carry Gun or not...

XD40sc and a Walther PPS 9mm for back-up......they go everywhere with me unless signs posted. I usually don't patronize places that require me to leave my rights at the front door, however, sometimes ya need what they got:grumpy: Have also started to carry the HEST horiz. on the belt with a tekloc at 6:00.....so far, working pretty well.

I have my SC and out of state NH which allows me to carry in GA, AL, and MS.

SC has some pretty specific rules about no carry signs. To date, I have not seen any signs that are meet the requirements. But we can not carry into places that serve alcohol for comsumption on premises:thumbdn:. So I can carry in a liquor store but not in Applebee's. I have a S&W MP45. I want something smaller.

Dan Wesson 1911 CBOB with 185 gr DPX, 2 spares (1 in mag holder/1 in pocket holster), S&W M642/CTC LG-405 with 110 gr DPX, 2 speedloaders in pocket holster and/or 2 speed strips in TUFF speed strip pouch.

The 1911 can be rotated with:

S-A 1911 Loaded Government,
SIG P245,
S-A XD-9SC with LG 446, or
CZ P-01

Ammo load-out on primary is 2 mags/DPX
Ammo load-out on bug is 2-4 speedloaders/0-4 speedstrips/DPX

I always at least carry the M642 either as a bug or primary unless prohibited or I'm asleep.

para ordnance 1911 .45 acp here....had my ccw for a year now, and have carried it everyday.....

Don't carry anymore in fact I sold all my pistols and let my permit expire. My favorite carry would probably be Glock 19 but I like the 226, 1911, 686, and 642.

I've got two EDC concealed carry pistols. The first is a K-T P3AT which ALWAYS rides in the front pocket of anything I'm wearing from the moment I slip out of bed. Then when actually leaving the house I also always wear a Kimber TLE (.45acp) in a IWB holster from Milt Sparks.

Glock 27 or Ruger LCP.

With the winter clothes, I have been able to IWB a Glock 20 with Hogue grip. Its bulky, but it can be done.

Kahr CW9 9mm, Federal 9BPLE. Easy to carry with a Don Hume IWB holster.
Smith & Wesson 38spl.+P (backup), Speer Gold Dot 125. Easier to carry. No holster.

got my ccp the day I turned 21. it's either a glock 23 or a s&w 442. usually paired with a SOG folder.

Except at work, where I can't even have it in the car.
And for those about to say, just have it anyway.....
I work on a Government owned facitlity. They can and do search vehicles.
Not worth the risk.

I know the feeling man. Sucks hard. That's serious slam time too. Ironic how freedom works.

Right now my two that I rotate daily are either a Glock 19 that I sent to www.bowietacticle.com for a grip reduction package, or my full house custom browning Hi Power. Both are in 9mm, and they throw 124 grain hydrashocks or black talons.

Springfield 1911 compact it's been to all the best gun smiths in the country I think. I guy I traded a Glock .40 for it said he spent over 2500.00 it has never given me a problem. I also like to have in my PU Remington 870 18" 12ga. If I'm really unsure I might put my Serbu 12ga in my PU instead just not too comfortable with it due to it's non PC correct. Don't need to go through all the hassle with the PD.

Glock 19 or 26 in the winter, easier to cover with a sweatshirt & jeans. Keltec PF9 or Kahr MK9 in the summer, smaller package is easier to conceal with lighter clothes. Glocks & Kahr have Winchester PDX1 124 gr., and Keltec has Remington 115gr hollow points. I would like to try the Hornady Critical Defense, anyone have experience with it?
