Anyone have issues w buying from ssblood? I posted payment for a Spyderco m390 PM2 a week ago and have no shipping confirmation. My last 3 emails and 1 forum post to him have been ignored. During this time, ssblood has sold a whole bunch more knives. One buyer responded to my post and indicated that he is in the same boat w a purchase one day after me.

I was giving the seller the benefit of the doubt because he claimed health issues fir the delay initially. But when he went silent w me yet continue to sell additional knives...I am wondering if I have been swindled.

Similar issues w this seller? Thoughts/advice are appreciated.

Jack

Just stating the facts. Not accusatory in any way in my msg. Gave him more than enough chances to respond.

If I was given a heads up alert i would appreciate it. I have dealt with bad exchanges and its no fun. But the amount of support offered from other members is wonderful.

You realize you have also broken the rules by posting/interfering with sales threads? Now I have to back, clean everything up and decide what to do with your posts?

I did not realize I was breaking a forum rule. I will go back to try and delete those messages.
My apologies.

I went back to delete my msgs but it seems like they were already deleted by mods. Again...my apologies for this infraction and inconvenience I caused. Was just trying to check if other buyers have better luck with contacting seller than me.

Doesn't sound good if hes leaving two of you out to dry. Ill admit sometimes i get overwhelmed with life but a day tops is all that goes by...

Hope this gets resolved for you op

Shortly after I cleaned up the threads, I sent David a message. He used to be a lot more active in numerous subforums than he is now. I'm thinking that something might be going on in his life that has turned something sideways for him. Regardless, I will stick with this until I can get a response from him. I will follow up with a formal email and work my way up. For the time being, let's not speculate too much or think the worst.

Thanks Mod for your followup on this. I usually operate on the least dangerous assumption...i.e. the impact on my being wrong guides my judgement. However, in this case, it does not make sense to me that OP does not respond to my emails (and at least one other paid buyer)...yet continues to post and respond to new sales.

In any event...thanks again for your attention to this.

I recently bought from him... Hoping my knife will arrive today. He responded to me when I sent him a PM, and said he's going through a hectic week. He said he's been shipping the knives but has a truck full of tracking numbers he hasn't sent out. If I recieve my knife I'll try to remember to post on here.

Caldwelr..thanks for the information. That sounds promising. I needed my knife for tomorrow for an intended purpose (food prep at cookout) and he assured me that I would get it. I am hoping that it is a case of him having shipped but not getting around to sending me tracking info.

Just an update: I did not receive the knife today like I was supposed to if he sent them when he said. To give him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the mail messed up.

If I were you, start filing paypal disputes. I hope you all didn't use the gift option. Emails to him have been bouncing back as undeliverable.
