That's just not right, AF. Contact the seller and explain the problem. I'm not sure what they will do about it, now that you've removed the rivets, but you should contact them anyway. It may be a problem that they're unaware of, and you might prevent them from shipping the wrong sheath to someone else. It doesn't matter how much you paid for the sheaths: wrong is wrong.

OK I'll let Knifecenter know.

Called Knifecenter. Helpful woman gave me number for Rick at Condor. She also told me I could return the sheath I hadn't altered.
Called Rick. He was understanding of the problem and told me to email him with my information so that he could get me replacement sheaths. First he'll need to figure out what's going on.

Thanks for the update, AF. Condor's really good at taking care of things like this.

Yeah...they'll be glad you contacted them. Those sheaths are totally effed up. That being said I know that the first gen. goloks ARE a slightly different shape.

got my sheath today for my second generation golok:grumpy:unfortunatly it has the same problems with the rivets getting in the way of the blade going in. I contacted KF and all they told me was they are going to forward my concern to Condor.
Hey AF do you think i could get Ricks #? KC didnt give me that option. thanks

is anyone else having problems going the Condors website. I keep getting Internet Explorer cannot open page. wondering if site is down for maintenece.

Both it AND the Imacasa site seem to be down right now, so my guess is they're doing some updating. :)

It was down and now it's back up. Rick's information is listed under the contact section.

This is what happens when things aren't ran by me first. Yes There is a sheath problem. It will be fixed. As far as I know from anyone else, they didn't need to thin the edge, was yours too thick for your liking? If any one else has any more problems, please PM me about it.

The factory edge angle is fine. I wanted to thin mine out. I like the Golok. Too bad about the sheaths but it sounds like Condor is working on it. I'll report back when I get my replacement sheaths.

I got the replacement sheaths today. They are a little wider and work perfectly. Thanks Condor for the quick turnaround.

Well, I'm glad it worked out. I bought a Golok at Blade, and quite like it.

Condor is going to have to go back to the drawing board on this one. Unless the gen 2 Golok is a different size. I don't think that's it though.
I haven't contacted anyone.

I don't understand why you would post here first, even before you give the dealer/manufacturer a chance to respond to your concern. It's doesn't seem fair to call them out publicly before you talk to them.
