Condor Golok, when's it going to be in stock again?

Not yet. Maybe Smokey has them. I haven't even seen the sheaths. I'll post them up if I see one.
FWIW, I haven't handled a Kukri Machete yet myself :/

Mine finally arrived yesterday. I got my Randall #14(in 1998) faster. It looks well made. The only part that's sharp is the last 2" near the tip. Any plans on a sheath for this? Are there any aftermarket companies that are making sheaths for it?

P.S.: What type of wood is used in the handle? I'm guessing a South American hardwood...

The sheaths that Condor made for them had a slight error in their manufacture, so they're redoing them. Fortunately it shouldn't take you much elbow grease to get it scary sharp. :)

The handle is indeed South American hardwood--some sites list it as walnut, but I think that's incorrect.

A shame that the company has had so many problems with producing this thing, but it was a bit of a leap from the norm for them.

That's how I feel about Condor in general--hell--that's how I feel about machetes in general! :D:thumbup:

Don't forget to post up a review with photos when you get a chance! :p
