Condor Golok, when's it going to be in stock again?

I just hope that the Golok is popular enough for Condor to invest in a plastics mold to do polypropylene handles for them. I'm crazy about their polypro handles.

A bunch of the regular Imacasas have nice polypro handles too. ;) I'm starting to really dig the Imacasas- they're just screaming for mods. I put a nice edge on my 14 incher, and I think it's gonna be a keeper!

Sure Joe, I just did not know if I was going to have to send it back or anything. It will be useable. Thanks for your help.

C'mon dude! You're killing me! Where are the pics? :p

Cam at Machete Specialist is trying to figure out what model that monstrous bloated chopper Joe has in his infamous "box o' machetes" video is--if he's able to work out a way to get any I'm probably going to grab at least three--one to use as-is and the other two to mod. There's a lot of steel in that thing!

I'll try to remember to bring in my camera tomorrow. :D

I'd be interested in what that beast in Joe's video is too. That thing is ridiculous. Ridiculously cool.:cool: Kinda like the Burriquito on 'roids, right?

More like a whopping big version of the Machete de Suelo with a standard un-canted blade (the Machete de Suelo is used for cutting grass and so has the blade bent at an angle for making horizontal cuts comfortable while standing). Whatever it is I want one SO BAD. :p

The golok I ordered on 12/1 from Smokey Mountain arrived today. It is beautiful, almost display case beautiful. I'm eager to find out how it compares to the Tramontina bolo for southeastern Michigan usage.

Whitedoor. Baton through a brick (not really) but have fun. As for the machete del suelo...I have a video some where around here......

Seriously if you ever find a way to get another one, let me know. That thing is balls-to-the-wall awesome!

Just got my Golok in the mail. I love it but it's smaller than I imagined. A good compact usable size though. Has a heavier and more solid feel than my machetes. A little rust on the polished edge and the grind is a little uneven on the two sides. Not an issue though. No fatalities yet except for the shipping box. Hopefully I can test it out soon. If nothing else, I'll test it on the Christmas tree after Christmas. That is is my if my 7 year old son doesn't take care of it with the 12" Khuk that Santa is bringing him.

Don't worry, we'll have a parang thats longer.

No, this is actually just what I wanted. I love the size and feel of it and it has a great fit and finish. I'm sure that I'm going to order another when they're a little easier to get. Does the big bulb on the end of the handle serve some sort of purpose like maybe a counter balance?

yeehaawww!!!! i found a place that has them in stock! i already placed my order and cant wait for them to come in.:D:D

Hmmm interested to see the new ones. I still have the original I bought at BLADE. I was about to get started on re-shaping the handle, but it sounds like there have been some further improvements done.

yeah, is the one you got at blade even tapered at all?
