Considering EDCing a Small Fixed Blade. Recommendations Needed.

I love the Ruike f815 as a budget option but have been carrying the Bark River Tusk and the Jx6 lately and really liking them

For that price range i could make you a pretty sweet custom.
See pics below.

For your price range I can do Z-Finit, Vanax , or CPM 20CV, all exellent stainless steels.

Also I have G10, micarta, Carvon fiber and tons of other matrials including wood.

Very nice. What's the lead time on something like that?

Not sure if I already posted in this thread but...
Whiteriver caper/backpacker is a well made knife. 3.2 inch blade of s30v. Thin and light. Kydex sheath with multiple carry postion options.

I carry this horizontal at my 10-11 o'clock. This one is the backpacker. The caper is the same knife but with opened pinned micarta handles. You can get this one and add g10 scales that whiteriver sells for a very fair price.

Top two are from Tactical Petrodactyl Knives, the black and tan is a mid-size Petrodon variant, and grey is is a mid-sized Raptor variant. The bottom right is a Willmont Grinders K25.

Those look great. What are the top two? And the bottom right?

My current 3" or under fixed favorites, these are all perfect small carries IMO.

Really like Wilmont, I bought a small one at Blade Show 2014.... and missed getting a larger one a few weeks ago because I forgot to set a snipe on eBay, it was only $200.00 with both kydex and leather sheaths included... but then realized I didn't really "need" it anyway and prefer my Joe Watson Kidon.

My Wilmont small EDC:

The one I missed last month:

Some beautiful knives in this thread.

I'll more than likely order my fixed blade from a dealer instead of directly from Bradford (assuming I stick with the G3.5). My favorite dealers have plenty in stock. And I can always order the new style sheath from Bradford should I get a knife with the old looser fitting sheath design.

I'm in the process of selling a few "back-up" knives in order to make room for some new acquisitions. As soon as I finish these transactions , I'll pull the trigger on a new small fixed blade. New deadline : Monday at the latest.

I had an EDC, but I like the K25 and Mini Persian better, so I let it go. I wish I had a piece from Joe Watson, both the Kidon and Magni are badass.

I really like Lon H.’s forged 3V Kephart. If that’s too big, the Nothwoods Hiawatha or Iron River are nice. However, my favorite small fixed is a Bradford Guradian3 in M390.

I will second or third the White river knives suggestion. I have the caper and it is excellent. They have come out with a lot smaller EDC style knives that are worth checking out. They have options that are paracord wrapped or no handle to make super thin options.

CPM 154
Tapered tang
Horizontal leather sheath
A tad more than your price point but you said thereabouts ..
