Considering EDCing a Small Fixed Blade. Recommendations Needed.

If you can find one the Knight Jurassic Park Bird & Trouts are wicked little knives but not stainless .... but they are fantastic cutters and when we did the series they came with horizontal sheaths

Burt Foster Dark Side

Sam mai

Best of both worlds ....carbon core stainless skin

In your price range you really can get something very nice in a custom knife and more importantly sheath option

Honestly I didn't read the whole tread but with your budget I would go custom, in production I would go Guardian 3. Also I know it's not what you are looking for but the BK 11 works very well in a horizontal kaydex sheath, at least for me.

I have a Guardian 3.5 on the way. Looks like a sweet knife and most everyone seems to hold Bradford knives in high regard. And their horizontal leather sheaths looks great. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I may check out customs down the road. But for now , Bradford has my full attention.

I just scored a sweet deal on a Street Beat but the stock sheath bugs me. Do you have a sheath from Primal Options? (asking for pics if possible)

That said I also recommend the Street Beat especially if you like the Ronin. I fell in love with the profile so I also picked up a Perrin Le Bowie to accompany it, it's smaller but very utilitarian.
Final got around to getting a pic of the sheath. It is carbon fiber, set up for IWB carry:

I've had a G3 for a couple years now & liked it from the start. It has all the benefits of a fixed blade over a folder, yet is easy to carry & conceal if needed. I've been visiting Brad's site often since I heard of the 3.5 & the more I looked at it, the more I knew I "needed" one, so I hit the "Add To Cart" button this morning.

Very nice. Which configuration did you get?

I went with the saber grind , stone washed M390 blade and 2D black G10 handle. I really like the horizontal carry sheath. Mine should arrive tomorrow.

I am happy to hear you got a Guardian 3 I love mine and would love to see some pics when you get it.

These are cool, can you tell me about the maker?

The G3.5 arrived yesterday. Blade length is pretty much the same as the G3, but with a different choil/handle configuration, which makes it much more comfortable for my XL hands. Even with being a bit longer than the G3, it still conceals easily with the horizontal sheath. I think this one's going to get carried a lot.

The Maker is Jason Knight MS

Jason is a very well known Bladesmith and recently was one of the judges on Foged in Fire

He is a good friend and we have worked on many knife projects together

Two of the best bladesmiths on the planet

David Mirabile on left Jason Knight on right
