Contact for Scott Cook

I removed them. Not trying to cause him any problems-just trying to help!

I have dealt with Scott before, though it has been a while.

We talked, I decided what I wanted.

He gave me a loose time frame of three months wait, he said he would contact me about a week from completion.

I said OK and left him alone.

He contacted me after about 8 weeks.

I sent money.

He sent knife.

All was well.

This is my experience.

Certainly not trying to bother the man...I know he's very busy. I'm in the military and have moved about 4 times since placing the order in '05...I don't mind the wait, just want to make sure I'm still on the list and he has my contact info.

Appreciate all the input.

Hey, I don't blame you at all.

I'd be wanting a reply also if I was in your position.
He should give you one no doubt..... ASAP ......

I was just sharing my experience, from way back when. :)

Don't blame you a bit. I hope you get your knife soon.

Thank you for serving!

Richard

I have been on the list for 2 or 3 years now. Scott did tell me that it was a long wait of several years. I am patient, and I believe that I WILL get me Lochsa.

Most of these guys (custom makers) do everything including janitorial work after the work day.
and answering the phone. I wonder why Mr. Cook can't both make a fine knife and answer an e-mail. Essentially no maker has to maintain comms after the order is placed, but it doesn't say much for him when others can; and on top of that they're making their own steel, or doing their own pattern welding, or attending shows, or offering more models, moving more per year, etc.

In January, it will be 3 years on the list for me. He gave the estimate of two.....oh well.....it will just make it thatt much sweeter when it comes!
