oh, I just saw the talk ... it had a nice aside on not even having decent cutlery at school, which would lead kids only deeper into a culture of fast food ...
 
ive got about 70lbs to loose. ive lost 20 since december though so thats promising. keep up the good work.
 
I could loose some poundage. I'm 6'2" around 200. I was 180 ish when I played varsity soccer in highschool. Now I could loose some fat and put on some muscle, don't know how much my weight will change if any. But I would like to loose fat and gain muscle instead.

I don't know if I could do it. I'm busy in college and don't really have the money to eat really well. My diet could use a change and I need to get more exercise.

Friday came and went. I wasn't quite down to my goal of 195 this week. I was sitting at 196.8 pounds last night after getting back from the gym. From now on though, I'll weigh myself in the morning, instead of after the gym where I load up on water. I went to martial arts three times this last week, and the gym twice. I did lower body, stretching, abs, and cardio last night. By next Friday, I'm shooting for 193. I'll let you know how I feel on Monday, after a nice V-Day dinner with the girlfriend. Home cooked Bison, goat cheese mashed potatoes, mixed greens salad, home made bread, and home made Oreos! (I know I'm going to regret the Oreos, but home made ones are AWESOME!

Oh man - great motivator Katie!!!

I'm trying to slim down but I just love to not only eat, I also love to cook - drop by some time and I'll throw together some of my cracked pepper and key lime salmon with a long grain and wild rice pilaf. I guess I just have to cook better so I can eat better...:cool:

I'm 6'3" and 250 but I don't look a pound over 245 :D - I'd like to get down to 220 as that's where I feel my best. I've been really focusing on eating lots of fruit and protein and staying on top of the veggie intake. Walking an hour 3-5 times a week and some gym workouts for cardio and strength training, we'll see how being accountable helps out...
