Oh yeah, that Emerson commander grip is incredible! And the videos on YouTube do not do it justice in terms of comfort and how grippy those g10 handles are.

Hello all! Sorry for my general lack of response to the thread, I was in a serious collision and was out of commission. Seems like the general consensus was that I would love an emerson if I bought one...so I did. For the last while I've been carrying and using my CQC-13 daily and I love it. Super solid build quality! I love the fact that the screws holding the scales on are about 2x the length of normal scale screws and go right through the backspacer into the opposing side's liner. I haven't had a task it couldn't complete and I have zero fear of beating on this thing. Thanks again to everyone for the many responses, advice and awesome pictures!
