many people now seem to like a sharpened pry bar.
I think you've hit the nail on the head. Sharpened pry bars are much more in demand than during the first run of the Intrepid.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.

I'm also interested in why they brought the Intrepid back. I like it, but like MB said, it's not real practical. Maybe it will last longer this time....

Guess BG rubbed someone wrong one too many times. He's the only member of this forum which I have EVER put on my ignore list.
The Spitfire looks interesting but not digg'in the recurve in the blade.
That does put a bit of a damper on it when it comes to sharpening on a stone. Spyrderco's Sharpmaker tends to be what I use for recurves.
i liked the intrepid ... seems like a good dive knife ... most dive knives are like sharpened pry bars as anything use..
are we sure bg42 is baned? i mean is bg42 and bg42edge one and the same?:foot:
ya he some times went a tad over the line ..

Since we are talking about new, I just saw the 722 Spitfires on Facebook. One handed lockback and at least three different colors, all while being US made.

Or the Edgetek Flipstik sold by Buck.Personally, I'm glad to see a new modern lockback. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.
Wonder what the specs are? I'm likin all three of those colors with a PE blade.
I am hoping for at least a 3" blade.
