Cracked a bottle of McKenna 10 yr recently. Had only tried two bottles previously (same barrel) and it was ho-hum at best. This bottle is absolutely delightful and can now understand some of the hype I've read about it.

As I slowly work my way through a bottle of Woodford Double-Oaked, I'm amazed at how much the profile has changed. First half of the bottle was good, but not amazing. Somehow, the latter half of the bottle is like a different whiskey - much more mellow and flavorful. I'm liking it.
