CPK and Whisky (or other vices), a pictorial

Thanks brother. It’s a DEF in D3V, not the updated DEF2. The OG Double Edged UF was not dagger ground or D3V.View attachment 2029170
Thanks Gus ! I’ve been trying to get familiar w/ the differences for a while now and this seals the deal. At this angle, one can tell by the guard, grind, and rounded butt, that it is the UF variant. I did not know that the DE UF didn’t come in D3V.

Btw, I like “rounded butts”!

Nathan use to hand grind the double edge on the original UF. This one is in 3V, predating the Delta protocol. I think some were made in ElMax also. The D3V DEF or dagger ground variant was introduced in a preorder when Nathan revived the UF. It started out as a dagger grind, unlike the original DE UF that had the upper edge ground on a regular UF. In the pic below, the top one is the OG DE UF Variant in 3V, and the bottom one is a dagger ground DEF2 in D3V. You can see the dagger grind is different.ECBCC186-C9F9-48EB-9BD1-30F6089EFA05.jpeg
