Happy Father's day to you all. Judging by that template and extrapolating from an estimation the hand size being roughly a size 10, we re looking at the future CPK sub 4" fixed blade EDC :thumbup:
 
Love my field knife. A slightly scaled-down variation of that sounds fantastic. Look forward to the updates.

Stout, drop point, thumb ramp, finger grove, skeletonized tang in delta 3V.... Looks like a little field knife to me as well.

So where do we get in line and send the money?

I'm not sure the best way to do this. In the past, most sales followed a format where knives were posted at 3:00 on Friday in the fixed blade area and that was pretty much it. Now that we have a forum here it opens other possibilities including presales and online lists etc.

I will probably continue to do the Friday sales on the fixed blade sale area because people expect to find them there, but we may start adding other sales such as pre-orders etc here if people want them.

I am sure I speak for more than myself, we want it! :D

There are so many way you can do it, just a matter of you deciding what you are comfortable with.

I am sure with your own forum now, you are going to get more interested buyers!

On another forum I visit, they do something similar to your Friday say, but batches that are yet to be made, about 30 days out. Payment upfront, no cancellation allowed. Usually 20 spots or so. Gives people a chance to get in when they cannot be one of the first 5 to reply in say 30 seconds of your post.
 
My F5-fu has been too weak to get in on a Friday sale for the Field Knife or Light Chopper, I'd definitely be down for the chance to preorder. Looking forward to seeing the EDC design.

I have been extremely lucky on 2 of the Friday sales, since being in front of my computer at the right time is a total crapshoot with my job.
So if you decide to do pre-orders on the CPK EDC, I'm all in.
 
I'll keep trying for a chopper and more than likely your EDC once it comes out, but also wouldn't mind a sort of preorder or waiting list system.

I guarantee you that your luck will run out when CPK, the artist formerly known as NTM, lists his next batch of Field Knives... Oh wait, what was that? You already have one of those too?... Gawd, I hate you! :D

Yes, I want them! [emoji106] To complete in the Friday sales can be fun and disappointing for some. I was fortunate enough to score during one of the Friday sales. That came after the 3rd try as I overslept in the previous sessions. I have to set my alarm at 2.30am and glued myself to the laptop to win that bid lol.

Being based in Singapore, it means the Friday sales happen at 3am for me. Pre-order will allow me to catch up on the beauty sleeps which I lack after my daughter came into my world 4 months ago.
