Young Silas, the lad with the goofy grin on the left has developed a weird floor phobia - almost like he is playing a game of "The Floor is Lava" as he tries to move from one piece of furniture to the next. It's as exasperating as it is comical.

One thing which I really love about this country is that by and large, we are a nation of pet loving folks. Yes, there are some abhorrent abuses toward animals by some true a-holes but I think that the amount of love which most of us have for our pets is phenomenal for these awesome companions. OK, now time for a tear jerker and if this doesn't evoke some empathy and sympathy in you, then go and take a good look at yourself in the mirror (OK, I've stolen this from a famous ex-President and spun it my way):

PS. Lilo is fine and the shelter is planning on reuniting it with the original family out of the kindness of the great shelter folks, trying to get the whole family back on their feet :thumbsup:
