Great looking dogs, fellas. This is from a week ago and getting the stink eye because he'd been housebound since a nasty paw cut on July 4... difficult keeping an active dog's activity minimal for a month

I've always heard that Corgis think they can lift a 1 ton bale of hay! 🤷‍♂️ :D
This is one of two I’ve been around in any meaningful capacity.
Both acted 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
That corgi butt thing they have ain’t cute anymore after you realize it’s swagger!!

That one is still less than a year and it looks like that 2k is attached to her anytime it’s the humans idea to do something.
She’s a good one though. Cracks me up often!

^Heard that.

IIRC Bob Loomis said that some of the best horses of their generation were wasted on poor training.

Still continues today on observation and personal experience, but the tide is turning.

NRHA professionals sign a serious code of ethics that showed up a few years ago. The show stewards have much more ammunition and power to keep the “usual suspects” inline. Doesn’t help make trainers and riders smarter, wiser, or more peaceful, but you don’t have to watch good horses end up in needlessly compromising situations as much anymore.
