I understand your sentiment, but that adorable face looks great uncovered. So I left my babies in a dog hotel while I was in France for the week. Theo had an accident in his room on the first night and they claimed they couldn't get his hair unmatted without shaving him down.

I'm a little pissed off.
Awesome so glad to hear this E!!!!Man, it's been a crazy couple of months with the dog...but a few days back Kobe started showing symptoms of kennel cough, just under two weeks after his visit to the vet...when we learned about the whipworms and possible thyroid issue. (He hadn't been around any dogs before or after the vet.)
So, it was really working on me after all the other b.s. and I ordered some honey from Amazon which came the next day. I ended up giving him a couple of teaspoons worth the first day, and by the next day, the cough was gone. Now I can't swear it was bordetella, (he had the booster at the vet visit), but whatever the heck it was...this stuff saved the day. Figures it would be "Nate's". He hasn't coughed since Thursday.

Also, I don't think it's gonna be a thyroid issue, as he seems to be trimming down well after having cut him back to two cups of Science Diet daily. Once I weigh him again in a couple of weeks, we'll see if we stay at two cups or increase it. He's been more playful and energetic since whipping the whipworms and dropping some weight. The cough set him back for a couple of days, but it seems the honey solved that problem.
I'd be very pissed. Does your dog have an undercoat? Shave shock is a real thingSo I left my babies in a dog hotel while I was in France for the week. Theo had an accident in his room on the first night and they claimed they couldn't get his hair unmatted without shaving him down.
